High Performance

The Coaching High Performance Players Course (Level 3) is a 14-day course (12-day course and 2-day assessment) and includes the following six modules:

1.  Advanced tactics
2.  Teaching methodology and training
3.  Advanced biomechanics and technique
4.  Body conditioning
5.  Psychology
6.  Tennis development and planning

Candidates who undertake this course should be interested in coaching advanced and professional players involved in competition.  Candidates must also have passed an ITF Coaching Advanced Players Course (Level 2) or equivalent.  Coaches complete one written test for each module as well as an on-court test.

All Coaching High Performance Players Course documents are available below as PDF documents.

All ITF Courses are run through the national tennis association in each country, and the qualification gained at the end of the course represents a qualification recognised by the national association, not an ITF qualification. The ITF do not certify coaches. Through the ITF Coach Education programme, the ITF assists national tennis associations which do not already have a certification system in place to run their own coaches courses.
