Deadline looms for Worldwide Coaches Conference

Registration for this year’s ITF Worldwide Coaches Conference by BNP Paribas in Sofia, Bulgaria closes on Friday 1 September.

The theme of this year’s Conference is “The Journey of the Player” and will feature presentations related to the progression of a player's development in tennis from beginner to professional and retaining all level of players in tennis for life, so that coaches of every ability can take home the latest research insights from global experts to implement into their own programmes.

This four-day event will feature both on-court and off-court presentations by leading international experts in various aspects of tennis, including former professional players, touring coaches, world renowned tennis researchers and sport science practitioners.  

Confirmed keynote speakers to-date include: ITF President, David Haggerty, Mary Pierce (FRA), Louis Cayer (CAN), Anastasia Myskina (RUS), Professor Bruce Elliott (AUS), Dr. Machar Reid (AUS), Anne Pankhurst (GBR), Ruben Neyens (BEL), Dr. Brian Hainline (USA) and Kathleen Stroia (USA).

As well as the keynote speakers, over forty workshop speakers will cover areas relating to: women’s tennis, integrity and education, medicine, training and coaching methodology, parents and values, disability and inclusive tennis, 10-12 and under tennis and more.

The conference is a fantastic opportunity both to learn from expert speakers with a wealth of experience and achievements in different areas of tennis, and also a chance to interact with and share ideas with fellow coaches from around the world.
